180° Model

Lasting change begins with the fundamentals.

The 180° Model is the approach behind our executive coaching, psychotherapy and occupational therapy – developed in 1999 at Humboldt University of Berlin. It connects six central areas of life with one clear framework for change: need, capability and conviction.

The framework

Six areas, one system.

The 180° Model does not look at a person in isolation but as the interplay of six areas: general health, nutrition, mental energy, relationships and family, sleep and recovery, and work and work-life balance. Change that starts in only one area rarely holds. Results last when all six are taken into account.

Why change succeeds

Need, capability, conviction.

Thirty years of practice as an executive coach, psychotherapist and occupational therapist point to one thing: lasting behavioural change needs three conditions at the same time. The need to change something. The capability to actually do it. And the inner conviction that the path is worth it. If one of the three is missing, change stays on the surface or breaks at the first crisis. In coaching and therapy we work on all three levels – not only on symptoms.

Who it is for

Leaders, entrepreneurs and people in transition.

The 180° Model accompanies children, adolescents, adults and seniors – from focus and learning behaviour through burnout, role overload and anxiety to neuropsychology and professional reorientation. It is in particular demand among leaders and entrepreneurs who achieve a great deal and rarely speak about themselves.

I look forward to our conversation – find out where working with me personally makes the difference. Since 1995 I have accompanied people as an executive coach, psychological therapist and occupational therapist – with the 180° Model I developed.
