How a Learning Journey works

A journey, not an event

Development needs space, sometimes best of all a new space to breathe and to look at things in a different context.

Work on real cases

We work on your own leadership tasks, not on textbook case studies.

Psychological-therapeutic depth and intercultural competence

Psychological-therapy and neurological expertise instead of pure method training.

Measurable transfer

Every journey ends with concrete commitments that are tested and adjusted in daily practice.

Who the journeys are for

Learning Journeys are designed for leaders and managers who carry responsibility for people, results and direction: executive and divisional leadership, newly appointed leaders moving into their first or second leadership level, project and programme owners facing high complexity, and high potentials being prepared for a larger role.

We also accompany entire leadership teams that want to develop a shared language for collaboration, conflict and decision-making. No prior coaching experience is required – only the willingness to look honestly at one's own leadership behaviour.

Topics along the 180° model

Recognising need

What really drives me, my team and my organisation – beyond the official targets?

Building ability

Sharpening the craft of leadership: conversations, delegation, feedback, demanding performance.

Testing conviction

Making inner assumptions about performance, control and responsibility visible and correcting them.

Self-leadership & resilience

Dealing with sustained load, recovery, boundaries and the early signs of exhaustion.

Communication & conflict

Addressing tension early, resolving escalation, delivering difficult messages clearly.

Deciding under uncertainty

Improving decision quality when information is missing and pressure is high.

How a journey unfolds

3

Experience and learning across the whole journey

Consecutive units on self-leadership, communication, conflict and decision-making.

4

Individual sessions & peer groups

Confidential one-to-one work complemented by peer case consultation in small groups.

5

Transfer and closing

Reviewing commitments, securing what has been achieved and agreeing the next steps.

Frequently asked questions

How does a Learning Journey differ from a leadership seminar?

A seminar delivers content on a single date. A journey spreads learning across months, combines group work with confidential individual sessions and continuously checks what actually lands in daily practice.

How long does a journey take?

10 to 14 days, depending on the client's wishes. Destinations are primarily Hong Kong, São Paulo, Cape Town and New York. After the on-site programme, participants can extend their stay individually.

How large are the groups?

We deliberately work in small groups so that every participant can bring their own cases. Individual journeys are also possible.

Is this coaching or training?

Both are interwoven. The journeys combine leadership development with psychologically grounded support – without turning into psychotherapy. Where a therapeutic need becomes visible, we name it openly.

How confidential is it?

Whatever is discussed in individual sessions stays there. The client organisation only receives the agreed feedback on the programme, never on individuals.

Can journeys be tailored to a company?

Yes. Content, rhythm and formats are adapted to the strategy, culture and current strain of the organisation.

Let us talk about the right journey.
